Some annoying things in IOS9. The split screen and how it altered settings without telling you after the download and installation 

But on the other hand, I got to load updates for messenger and FB which wouldn't install before

We had quite a sad moment today.... Pops can no longer be allowed off the lead, bless her

Her eyes are now so bad that if stops to have a sniff about, she gets confused and goes off in the wrong direction and if you call her it just makes it worse, cos she seems to panic and then runs off in a random direction.  Duds had to retrieve her twice when she got lost in the long grass

I've got the new Lee Child's book, but I'm trying to avoid starting it until I'm a bit less busy. I'm not strong enough to handle reading his books a little bit at a time  

It gives a few laughs though. Today a little dog came charging up to her. It's owner look a bit worried, until Pops just sauntered straight past without even noticing it was there

Just working really, but if it's a reasonably nice day I do have 'cutting my front hedge one last time before it gets too cold' on my to do list. Yay.  WHat about you?

Next on my boring - but somehow extremely exciting - list of household purchases, is a new kettle and toaster. I've had my current ones for years now and they're showing their age (i'm constantly in danger of being electrocuted every time I use the kettle...). I don't use either very much (not being a tea/coffee drinker, or much of a breakfaster) but now I have a pretty washing machine and fridge, I'm feeling the desire for an upgrade
