After the fact, and in an attempt to make myself feel less embarrassed.... I have decided that people falling in must be such a common occurrence that they just didn't think it was a big deal. 
And how was Duds after his soaking ??
Unfortunately I didn't see it actually happen cos I was in front of him in the boat. He was ok, apart from being wet and a bit embarrassed.
To be honest, I was lucky not to fall at this point too. The sea bed was basically pebbles, which your feet sunk into up to your ankle on contact. It takes you a bit by surprise 
Those instructor people must have thought we were both incapable of staying upright
I blame my inner ear problems 
I also have bruises and cuts on my other leg from the second fall.

I mean the second time, when I fell in the water (as opposed to the first time when I fell off the wall). I think I must have scratched my leg on the kayak as it moved away from me.

Afternoon Darnies Hope you are all having a good Saturday . We didn't go visiting today as the hospital rang first thing to say that there was sickness etc. on the ward
