39 degrees  i'd be dead!! saying that when i was in egypt it was 44 degrees but then i was 25

i was never good with the heat...always in the shade and plenty of water

I used to sit and sizzle .....payimg for it now though

my friends would put cooking oil on themselves and burn in the sun....that's when we used to have a summer in ireland

Hi bazzy day quiet - how was Mr B's uncle?

Quiet sounds good  He was awake , and quite alert , although he is now convinced his brother is there and visiting him .....he died about 6 years ago  But I think I may have persuaded him that his sister ....who is also dead ....isn't  ignoring him and visiting  the guy across the ward ...   But physically he seemed much frailer than last time ...and his cough is worrying me .... 

awwww bazzy - it sounds such a worry for you and not on the door step either

Yes, it would be much easier if we ( or his other nephew ) lived much nearer ....as it is we are about an hour and three quarter away ( on a good day !!) and other nephew is about hour and quarter
