I went on one of the big scary rides. Two seconds in I knew I had made a HUGE mistake.

I found out today that a group of our boys went on the water flume and the ride stopped at the top of the slope before it goes into the dark tunnel, and a few of the carriages became bunched up. One of the boys was worried that when it started again, all the carriages would crash into each other as they went down the slope, so he panicked and got out of the carriage!  He then walked down the rails on the outside of the tunnel and got back into the carriage when it came out of the other end.  

I've decided I don't want to be responsible for other people's children anymore

Cruising round Italy and Croatia for a week. I've very excited! But it does mean that I will probably waste the first two weeks of my hols just wishing the time away
