bazzy - how did the day go?
It was lovely ...although we took a wrong turning and ended up going through the Wallasey tunnel ....twice !!

It was ok ....lovely beach ....and they've obviously done it up
you sound very underwhelmed
No, I loved the beach .....mind you the tide comes in very fast 
don't we know it and where we go walking, the tide comes in behind you had to warn parents some a few times, people who don't know the area shouldnt take risks 
Yes ....my friend used to go there a lot when she was little , so set me straight about it 
There is one part that I wanted to stroll along until she pointed out thhat fact ....it sort of came up a channel and circled around
it comes in so fast, sometimes it keeps up with our (me and jade) walking pace, although we do stop to play in the sand every now and again
There were lots of people walking dogs ......and although it was breezy , if you sat down in one of those alcove/bench type things on the sea wall it was quite warm ...
you just never know
