Good news- iPhone was working fine with calls as long out they were on loud speaker Bad news- the phone doesn't charge I've dug out the old nokia 5800, and all is working well. Except, I can't get on gaga like I could, so I won't be around during the day for a while I'm just pleased I got a phone that works So, that's mr car, the shower and my phone- 3 things broken down lately

That's not bad timing then. My personal best was dropping my 2 day old Nokia (can't remember the serial number but it had a fab camera with a Carl Zeiss lens) in to a pint glass of water. I used an alcatel for the next month until I got over the shock and shelled out for my first blackberry.

I'm not sure to be honest - it's something I've wanted for ages and now I've got it, it's like meh!!!  The Apps are way better than android but apart from that I'm not sure what all the fuss is about 

Pengy have you downloaded the 'words with friends' & 'matching with friends' apps yet?  

 

To be honest I was indifferent when I had the iphone 3, but when I changed to the iphone 4 I fell in love with it.

it't the iPhone 4S that I've got and no I haven't downloaded those particular apps - the only one I'm pleased with is the whip app that was on The Big Bang theory  and apart from farming I'm not really a games person although I'm sure there's some good penguin related apps there *goes off to look*

I used to have a great penguin game called Pengu for my Acorn Electron computer way back in 1984.

After a day incubating in a bag of rice, we put my phone on charge tonight and BAZINGA! It's charging. The speakers are functioning again too I've put my sim card back in, and it's running ok *touches wood* I'm going to carry my Nokia with me at all times as a back up, but if everything stays ok, I should be back in action
