Sunday.

I took these from the Boston Herald.  This is John Smith, of Southampton, on the Eye, giving an interview about his days as a Place Kicker for the New England Patriots.

This is Laurence Maroney, a star of last week's game. yes, that is snow on the ground.

And this is Julian Edelman, a very promising rookie who broke his arm on the last play of the game last week. Remember that name, he will be a star in years to come, I think.

Are more Americans getting into liking English Barclays Premier League football Dave, it's much better than the rubbish MLS league they have with David Beckham and Landon Donovan?, I know over there some don't like it due to low points and less goals scoring and have your own sports
I suspect so. As the MLS grows, and as the sport becomes more popular here, fans are looking out for more, and better play. The Premier League teams travel here from time to time, and it is more and more available on television.

We host the forums for Arsenal. I should ask them if they get very many US forum members.

It will be great if more people over stateside begin to like football, do you like it Dave?. Now you will be able to see what we go on about in the footie thread here. Yeah they have to do that for the publicity, money and to get more interested of course.

I don't understand it so well, Darlo.  The younger folks here all do, as they grew up with it. And they really love it.     People my age just never had it around us when we were young and as such just don't know it as well.

Have to run to the data center, see you all later on.

Steven will be thrilled to hear that. He is from Tampa

Cool, I will try to take more notice of American Football in future it's like Rugby here which I hardly watch apart from when England play. I've had a read of some of the rules etc to increase to the knowlege I had before hand.

WWE is sure popular there, but it gets even more faker and it lacks the star quality it used to have, most of them quit for Hollywood once they've had enough.

stonks 6785 Forum PostsToday at 01:48 (Edited: ) I always wanted to be a hotdog seller when I was a child, I still do for some strange reason....
I went to a baseball game in Detroit once, Stonksy. Twas the longest three weeks of my life. Looking forward to a hotdog every hour or so was the only thing that kept me going.  My only other sports venue experience was a rugby match (night game); I counted how many fags were lit by the crowd to keep spirits up.  Ooooh, I tell a lie; I used to go to local cricket matches at home but they don't count as we just got wasted and went to sleep.
