Her partner, Sylvain. Because he dumped her best friend for Samia last year.

Well she is her friend and no doubt is sticking up for her mate.

nah... that whole thing was set up by DOI, I reckon.    If she really hated him I don't think they'd have been paired up.

I doubt she had any choice as to who she was paired up with.

Could it be love rat Sylvain that got them kicked out?

Dancing On Ice 2014: Jason Gardiner unsurprised by Jorgie Porter exit

Jason Gardiner [Dancing On Ice 2013)
  •

Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner has said he’s not surprised by Jorgie Porter’s earlier exit from the show.

However he did admit it was a β€œshame” to lose the skater, who scored 29 points from the panel.

The Hollyoaks star, who was runner up in 2011, was eliminated on Sunday night after receiving the fewest public votes.

Jorgie left alongside Joe Pasquale as two celebs got the axe in the first live show.

Writing on his Facebook page about the weekend, Jason said: β€œIt seems Georgie [sic] was a victim of the Casanova syndrome which I suspect cost her votes [on Sunday]. A real shame to lose someone who showed such promise and clearly was distraught at being the first to leave the competition.”

Jason went on to hit back at viewer who claimed pairing Jorgie with Sylvain Longchambon (ex of her friend Jennifer Metcalfe) was a stitch up.

β€œMany have posted on Twitter that it was a bad decision to pair her with Sylvain. Controversial… maybe, but bad… no. Sylvain may have had more ass on this show than a toilet seat but in his defence he is one of the best pro male skaters we’ve ever had.

β€œUltimately the British public have spoken and there’s no use complaining or claiming it’s a stitch up. If people are so outraged then I wonder how many of those complaining actually voted for her? Clearly not enough.”

Meanwhile, Jason said he was a tad disappointed in all of the performances on Sunday night.

He explained: β€œOverall I could tell that many of the celebs were either nervous, a little rusty or complacent. As great as it is to have them back the fact remains that they have all taken part before so I want to see them push themselves beyond what they even think possible. This is our final series and in 9 weeks we will crown the Ultimate Champion of DOI.”

Dancing On Ice continues next Sunday on ITV.

Maybe Jorgie's upset because Sylvain knocked her back...

There’s been Ofcom complaints over Dancing On Ice host Phillip Schofield’s comments on the show at the weekend.

Proving that there really is nothing people won’t complain about, the the TV host came under fire for remarks he made about Jorgie Porter and her pro Sylvain Longchambon in Saturday night’s live show, poking fun at Sylvain’s trend for hooking up with his celebrity partners.

In one he said: β€œJorgie’s hoping to win the main prize this time. I’m not talking about Sylvain, obviously.”

Phillip was criticised on Twitter after the show for the personal comments but hit back: β€œI didn’t do Hello magazine! Just a bit of gentle ribbing s’all.”

Speaking on This Morning yesterday, he explained: β€œThe sense of humour wheels all fell off last night which I thought was a little bit of a shame, especially on Twitter, and it got a little controversial and I just thought, β€˜Come on everybody, lighten up – it’s light-hearted ribbing’.

β€œWe were giving Sylvain a bit of a hard time, but nothing that hasn’t been said before and nothing that wasn’t said in the VT.”

Eliminated Jorgie Porter, who was also on the ITV show today, admitted: β€œTo be honest, I didn’t really know what was going on… I was just really looking at him really.”

But it seems that the matter has now been passed on to TV watchdog Ofcom, with a source telling The Sun newspaper: β€œOfcom has received complaints, not a lot but some viewers were upset and complaints are always looked at.”

Meanwhile, DOI judge Jason Gardiner inisted there was no β€œstitch up” in pairing Jorgie and Sylvain together.

He wrote on Facebook: β€œMany have posted on Twitter that it was a bad decision to pair her with Sylvain. Controversial… maybe, but bad… no. Sylvain may have had more ass on this show than a toilet seat but in his defence he is one of the best pro male skaters we’ve ever had.”
