Real life partners - is David Seaman still with Frankie?

I don't watch the programme but when I saw Joe Pasquale on the list I knew I would not start.

I just hate the sound of his voice. I hope being on this show means his career is on the skids because the less of him I hear the better. End of pier act is where he should be.

He was fearless in the jungle.

And his Nessun Dorma on 45 is one of my most treasured possessions.

Now that's interesting .............I saw Donal McIntryre on The Wright Stuff the other morning and someone said he was going on a RL TV show soon .........Matthew Wright said Ahhhhhhhhh - and then someone said not the one you're thinking of.

I assumed it was DOI but now I'm thinking CBB. I really like Donal ....I hope I'm not disappointed if he does go in that is.

It should be a good one though. I can see why Ray Quinn is favourite but I thought I heard that Kyran Bracken was doing this for a living now. Can't remember where I heard it but ........I thought he was part of the tour on his own merit (if you know what I mean).

I think we're gonna have to sit back and enjoy this one for what it is - forget about level playing fields and all that.

I see Ray Quinn is the bookie's fav to win the show.

I see that Bonnie Langford is going in. Should it be retitled 'Dancing in the air'?  she never puts a foot on the ice.

Dancing On Ice contestant Jorgie Porter has admitted she was “shocked” to have been partnered with Sylvain Longchambon.

The Hollyoaks star made the final of the 2012 series, having danced with Matt Evers, but her new partner hasn’t gone down well.

Sylvain hit the headlines for his breakup from Jorgie’s fellow soap star Jennifer Metcalfe last year: The pair had been together since Jen appeared on the 2010 series, but split up following rumours that Sylvain was seeing his new celebrity partner Samia Ghadie in last January’s latest series.     

It was previously reported that Jorgie was “unhappy” with the pairing.

A source claimed: “It’s awkward for Jorgie, because her loyalty will always be with Jen. Jen thinks it’s a ratings ploy by ITV, luckily she knows Jorgie is on her side.”

Speaking ahead of the weekend’s live show, Jorgie admitted: “I was shocked to be paired with him. They told me live. I ended up on the floor.

“I did warn him I have kicked someone in the head before. I’ll kick him in the balls.”

But Jorgie confessed she could see why girls fell for Sylvain, saying: “He’s good looking, he’s ripped. I haven’t seen it yet because I haven’t got to the changing room. But we’ve got tanning tonight so I might have a look.”

Speaking at the show’s press launch yesterday, Jorgie also suggested she was at a disadvantage having to change pro partners.

She said: “It is hard swapping partners, it’s a different person. Also, he’s French – hard to understand him sometimes, I don’t know what he’s saying. As he doesn’t know what I’m saying sometimes.

“I taught him some English, I taught him you know, a few things – bit rude – as in what different body parts were called.”

Dancing On Ice starts on January 5 at 6:30PM on ITV1.
