It's a tricky one, Squiggle. He didn't receive any marks for the flying skate, so I guess that is considered his penalty, as he will almost certainly be in the bottom two. The skate off has always been judged solely on that particular skate, so if he can recover in time, he will be judged on that performance.

My 'dislike' of him aside, I don't see how he can even be allowed to be in a skate-off. Whoever he's up against will have skated 2 routines and yet Gareth will have only skated 1 (and still not performed the required routine).
If they save Gareth over the other contestant it'll stink more than a prawn milkshake in the sun.
