Sorry I wasn't here for the main show.....I tend to dip in and out because of adverts and overall lack of enthusiasm for DOI these days!

So........in week one, Pamela slips during the skate-off, and is rightly booted because of it.

This week, Matt the golden boy slips during the skate-off, and is judged on his 'overall performance'?

Double standards? Why bother having a skate-off at all?

I found it a bit weird that Maria Filipov was looking upset even before Philip made the final two announcement as well.

They probably tell the contestants first, before they announce the results to us - to avoid anyone disolving in front of the cameras.

Yes, I think they may do, cos I've noticed similar things on SCD too

Thanks for all your support. In the skate off mistakes should count. We got rid of Pammy week1 & it should be no different.

Well posted Kaffs! And well said Katerina and power to Jason for at least being consistent. I'd forgotten how Pammy got thrown out week 1.

I agree

Tomorrow night will see the remaining skaters perform in a love fest of a  Valentines special.

Matt Lapinskas, Samia Ghadie, Beth Tweddle, Luke Campbell, Gareth  Thomas, Joe Pasquale and Kieth Chegwin are all still in the  competition.

Last week’s leveller saw a big shake up in the scores, as Samia was left  bottom of the leaderboard while Beth topped the scoreboard for the first  time.

But it was a shock bottom two as Matt skated off against Shayne Ward in a  result that few predicted.

Proving no one is safe, all the stars are going all out this week, with Matt  keen to avoid the skate off by taking on a daring lift.

Luke is hoping to win over Jason Gardiner with a Dirty Dancing inspired routine,  while Beth is taking on the headbanger.

Dancing On Ice 2013 will air live from London tomorrow night on ITV.
