Don't be ridiculous - he skated independently - you get so star struck it's unreal.

He just stood on his skates and let his partner do all the tricks, he just skated along side her.

Glad some of you agree with me - that Eastender guy was so arrogant - didn't like him at all!

I don't think he's ever gone first week before

Edited to add answer

Itwas indeed Pamela Anderson who began her ice career at the age of five, while at school in Canada.

didnt quite live up to expectations did she despite her ability to skate at an early age

why did she say she hadnt skated before when asked last night

sad to see Matt go so soon but well done Cheggers

I hope Shayne improves  and stays a while longer

that's what he gets for gloating that he's been in every single Dancing on Ice

I love the show but don't think it's a good decision that someone has to leave in the first week. They all worked hard in rehearsals for 2 months and on first night are obviously nervous and what could potentially be a really good skater with more training could leave straight away because of a hiccup on first night, as in Pamela's case who I thought had more potential than a few of them.

I agree. Ithink they should leave the skaters for at least a week before one has to leave, and it's also not fair that the second lot, due to perform next Sunday, have extra time to practice now.

The new 'save me skate' is a whole new routine as well, so puts extra pressure on, especially in the first weeks.

I'm fast losing interest in DOI, because of too many gimmicks, bringing back Jason and Karen on the panel to create conflict, and because of the constant ads. We used to get 2 or 3 skates in before an ad break, now it's after every performance!

At least those bonkers Macleans singing women have gone though

Dancing On Ice 2013 line up: Here's who's skating on tonight's show!

  • Here’s the Dancing On Ice 2013 line up for tonight’s second show, and just how they’re all feeling ahead of their first skate!

Last week saw Samia Ghadie, Shayne Ward, Pamela Anderson, Matt Lapinskas, Beth Tweddle and Keith Chegwin all performing, with Pamela the first celeb to leave in the skate off.

And this week it’s the turn of the other half.

Comic Joe Pasquale, Olympic gold boxer Luke Campbell, telly host Anthea Turner, former MP Oona King, rugby star Gareth Thomas and TOWIE’s Lauren Goodger all skate this evening.

Lauren admitted: “I feel double pressure.

“I’m absolutely terrified. Seeing them do it gives you an idea, yes, but I’m now even more scared because I know how hard it is.

“I was sat next to the judges thinking, ‘Oh my god, that’s going to be me next week’.”

Meanwhile Luke confessed: “To be honest, spending so much time with my professional partner Jenna has made me feel very uncomfortable.

“I’ve never been so close to another girl and I’ll be glad when that side is over.”

Who will top the leaderboard and who will be the next to leave? Tune in tonight to find out!
