It is the first week and he has ZERO skating experience prior to this. I thought it was OK for the first week ........................pretty good standard generally really I think.
Do you think they get more training before the shows than they used to? I remember when they had to do step sequences, spirals and stuff in the first few weeks and they were all pretty shaky. now they all come on doing fairly credible routines in the first week.
Think they said 6 weeks Kaffs
Have they always had that? Maybe they train longer now or something - they're much better than week 1 skaters from years back.

So much easier for the girls .............I know it levels out but the early weeks are much tougher on the guys I think.

No idea, but yes, they seem much better in week 1 than they used to

Don't think they should have split the group like this, Didn't they once give a 'free' week - no one went till week two - after all the hard work etc. I think it's right to give them a couple of weeks and I think we'd ger a truer picture.

I like Samia and Sylvain(there's definitely chemistry there!), and Pamela and Matt as skating couples, I think they have the best potential of the lot on first impression.
Ashley Roberts has no business being on the ice panel. She's way too patronising to the girls especially.....I loved the 'wtf?' look on Beth Tweddle's face earlier in response to her critique!!
