It was confirmed earlier this week that  Jason Gardiner would  be returning as a judge in 2013, replacing Louie Spence.
Meanwhile,  Robin Cousins will be back as head judge for another year.
This year's  celebrity lineup is expected to include Baywatch star Pamela  Anderson, Keith Chegwin, soap stars Samia Ghadie and Matt Lapinskas, TV  presenter Anthea  Turner and X Factor winner Shayne  Ward.
Dancing on Ice returns to ITV1 in January.

The new series of Dancing on Ice promises to be a memorable one, as our prestigious judging panel is finally announced.

Ex Pussycat Doll and I'm a Celebrity star Ashley Roberts is the newest face to join the team, bringing a wealth of dance and performance expertise to our panel. Ashley also admits to being more than just a little star struck by our Dancing on Ice regulars as she reveals: "I'm beyond excited to be joining Dancing on Ice as a judge, to work alongside Torvill & Dean is such an honour, they're absolute legends."

Karen Barber re-joins us as a judge for the new series and will be making sure our contestants tick all the boxes with their performances. "We have an absolute wonderful group of celebrity skaters this year who have been training so hard to ensure they deliver on the ice for the viewers and of course us judges." says Karen.

The first judge to be confirmed for 2013, Jason Gardiner, returns to the rink after a year away from the show. But rest assured he's fighting fit and ready for the challenge: "I'm delighted to be returning to the show. I look forward to seeing what this years celebrities can deliver on the 
ice, I just hope they're ready for my honest critique." says Jason.

Last but not least, we're thrilled to confirm that head judge Robin Cousins returns for his 8th series on the Dancing on Ice panel, but if the celebs expect any easy treatment they had better think again. Robin says: “After a great DOI 2012 with one of our strongest winners yet the class of 2013 has their work cut out! It will be no pain, no gain and certainly no sympathy from us judges!”

Don't watch it, but given that it had that dancer guy at the top flouncing around I would have not watched it. He does adverts now, switch over whenever he comes on.

I really struggle with ITV programmes, they just seem third rate compared to other channels.

I think it has to be bad when looking downt he cast photo's and for most part I am wondering who the skater is and who the star is

   I was like that with a lot of them Olly - good job I know some of the skaters.    I don't really mind who's in it - I like watching for the skating.

The pair will be joined by Jason Gardiner, who is also back, and head judge  Robin Cousins, the only judge to star on every series so far.

I read about the Samia/Maria story a few days ago. Whatever stories are leaked about anyone while DOI is on wouldn't persuade me as a viewer as to the skating abilities of anyone on the show, I have a mind of my own so have rarely followed the sheep crowd on reality tv progs
