Christine Bleakley is being lined up to replace mother-to-be Holly Willoughby on the Dancing On Ice results show as she seeks to boost her career.
Bleakley - pictured shopping with boyfriend Frank Lampard last night, has struggled to make an impression on the troubled Daybreak show with Adrian Chiles since her defection to ITV from BBC in a Β£6million deal last year.
According to TV insiders Bleakley, 31, will take over from Willoughby, 29, presenting the second half of the Sunday night show when Willoughby reduces her workload in line with her pregnancy.

Shop til you drop: Christine Bleakley, pictured at Harvey Nichols in London with boyfriend Frank Lampard last night, has been tipped to host Dancing On Ice
'When Christine signed up to ITV the bosses told her they had plans to make her a massive star on the channel outside of presenting Daybreak. And this is just the start of it,' a source told Star Magazine.
'They want her to be able to turn her hand to lots of shows, and something like Dancing On Ice is perfect for her.
'It would be nice for her to have something a bit lighter than her serious role on Daybreak and TV bosses are convinced she will have amazing chemistry with co-presenter Phillip Schofield.

Move: Bleakley could take over from Holly Willoughby on Dancing On Ice and insiders believe she would strike up good chemistry with Philip Schofield
'The plan is that she would come in and present the results and skate-off to let Holly have some time out like Claudia Winkleman did for Bruce Forsyth on last yearβs Strictly Come Dancing.'
The move would spark interest in the prospect of the Northern Irish presenter interviewing the ex-girlfriend of her boyfriend Frank Lampardβs, Elen Rivas, who is in this year's line up.

Nadia Sawalha
Nadia Sawalha has slammed her 'Dancing On Ice' elimination, saying it was ''harsh'' she was given the boot as audiences weren't given sufficient opportunity to vote for her following Sunday night's (09.01.11) skate-off.
Nadia Sawalha thinks the way she was eliminated from 'Dancing On Ice' was "harsh".
The 46-year-old actress - who alongside newsreader Angela Rippon was the first celebrity to be voted off the ITV1 show on Sunday night (09.01.11) - explained audiences didn't have time to vote for her following her skate-off against children's TV presenter Laura Hamilton.
She said: "What was even harsher was that I'd only just left the ice after my skate-off and then someone says, 'Lines are now closed'. I was like, 'Oh right? Did I really need to do the skate-off?' There was no time to vote for me anyway as I went last."
However, the former 'EastEnders' star admitted she understands the "evil" nature of TV, and realised the show's contestants are just "pawns in a game".
Nadia added to Digital Spy: "I have my own production company, so I understand how it works and that we are just pawns in a game. These shows are not made for us to have fun. I like watching evil as much as everyone else. I like the celebs being put in a box of rats in the jungle.
"Nobody would watch a load of nice people having a nice time showing off their lovely skating skills for a few weeks and then going home."
(I AGREE ,SHE HAS A POINT)
Oh please, NO. Although...........

Smooching in the street after a cosy dinner, maybe itβs time that Christopher Dean and his Dancing On Ice colleague Karen Barber stopped denying they are an item.
The couple have always maintained that they are no more than close friends, but their tender kisses outside a restaurant suggest otherwise.
Dean, 52, who stars on the ITV talent show with his Olympic skating partner Jayne Torvill, split last year from his second wife, U.S. skater Jill Trenary.

Clinch: Dancing On Ice colleagues Christopher Dean and Karen Barber embrace in public but they have denied any romantic link
Miss Barber, 49, a former skating professional who helps mentor the celebrities on the show after being axed as a judge, is still married to Stephen Pickavance, a trainer on Dancing On Ice.
A source told the Daily Mail: βKaren and Chrisβs closeness has been an open secret among everyone on the show.
'They obviously care about each other a great deal.β

Close: Dean split from his second wife last year, while Miss Barber is still married

Mentor: Miss Barber on the show
Last year, it was revealed that Miss Barber had spent five nights at Deanβs rented flat near the showβs former studios in Elstree, Hertfordshire, while Mr Pickavance was in Lancashire teaching northern contestants.
At the time, a spokesman for Miss Barber described any suggestion of a romantic link as βnutsβ and said the couple had been βfamily friends for yearsβ.
Yesterday Dean declined to comment on their relationship.
Miss Barber has two daughters, Emma and Laura, who are 17 and 19.
Dean has two sons, Jack, 12, and Sam, ten, who live with their mother in Colorado Springs.
He was previously married to former world skating champion Isabelle Duchesnay from 1991 to 1993.
