The show was ok .... there were performances from Torville & Dean ... & last years winner Ray Quinn.

There are also a few new professional skaters too who we were introduced to. Phillip & Holly also introduced us to the new batch of celebrity skaters.

I'm not sure if it's going to be repeated? ... but you could always watch it on the ITV catchup service

So, so gutted that the lovely Matt Evers is partnered with Heather Mills

I'm just glad she wasn't partnered with Daniel .................shame though cos Matt is lovely too. I really hope she's out first however good/bad at skating she is. I want her to really know/understand how the public feel about her.

She's looking dog rough at the mo too with the new hair cut - a bit like Shirley from EE. I'm hoping Mikey Graham does well .........I've a soft spot for him.

Didn't realise it launched last night. Will probably still watch the rest of it though.

Launch show is shown again on Sunday at 17:45 on ITV2, Just before the 'real' show on ITV at 18:45.

As someone who's disabled myself, I admire her for doing this but I also think she's already gone for the sympathy vote by informing everyone that she may have to skate some of her routines with one leg when her prosthetic limb causes her pain.  I have a feeling no matter how much she is disliked (I can't stand her myself) the GBP won't want to get rid of her too early she could play on her disability or the fact that it's because we're all McCartney fans

And what a bummer because the end of the show coincides with Larkrise to Candleford so I will miss the end and the dance off is at the same time as CBB - ITV player will be handy for both methinks!
