Last night the Canadian company Cirque du Soleil opened their new production "Totem" at The Royal Albert Hall.
Cirque du Soleil describe themselves as a mixture of circus and street entertainment.
The show attracted quite a lot of celebrities.

Press reports reveal that Kara declares herself and Artem as "officially an item."
They spend Christmas with her family and New Year in Los Angeles.

Dancers are now rehearsing for the Strictly Tour which begins in Notrtingham on the 14th of January.

I read a review of the Cirque du Soleil show and sadly it implies that the circus tricks, acrobatics, and dare-devil stunts are re-dressed and re-arranged, but that the show as a whole lacks soul.

I don't like Katherine Jenkins' voice and her horrible horrible vibrato.
Her efforts at grand opera are acutely embarrassing.
But I like Gethin Jones very much, particularly his shimmies and his knee slides.

So it's not just me being my usual unreasonable self then

She's just so good and perfect and holier than thou and she's got the most unnatural looking set of teeth. A bit like a horse that's had the Hollywood smile treatment in their lunch hour. I watched her Piers Morgan interview and like Cheryl Cole, it was so rehearsed and contrived. I prefer people with a bit of grit and emotion and impulse. She's about as impulsive as my knickers in 2010. (Not very impulsive)
