There is a large amount of circumstantial evidence and I am certain Casey was responsible for Caylee's death, but I'm not sure the jury will convict her of murder in the 1st Degree.

Me too Yogi, but I wouldn't want someone getting teh death penalty with the proof they have in front of them....

I think it would be an injustice if she walks away though

Exactly how i feel, as you know

I'd like to see a murder in the 1st degree verdict, but no death penalty.

Me too Yogi, she's not only killed or neglected her daughter to the point where the little girl died, she's sat back and watch innocent people being torn to bits...maybe some truth in some things and maybe not, no remorse, no shame or no feeling for anyone but herself.

The court was in tears today at the summing up, but George was just emotionless.

He did get upset when it was too do with him though, 9when o nthe stand) i just see his daughter being me me me the way her father is. Just my opinion.

Still it must be terrible to hear a defence say you were involved when you may not have been.

No -one in court is allowed to show emotion/facial expression/gestures etc... If they do, they are removed.

Not sure if they were removed but thats what happened.

Well it doesn't matter seeing as its the last couple of day, i think everyone else is still putting their opinions in the other thread. I was told my live up dates was confusing, or distracting or words to that effect, so im happy to be here.

I said i wasn't going back in that other thread.

Well i find George a confusing fella. I know everyone doesn't agree with me  which is cool, but i suppose its not as if it was out of character for him, i mean i got a shock when Baez did the opening statement and mentioned George abusing his daughter at 8 years old, and then her having to go to school after just having his penis in her mouth. I was gobsmacked he had no reaction, i mean even cindy had to leave the court ... but he may be a person who is very controlled in that area, like i say i reeled when i heard it, and found it odd that he didn't , but then he may be controlled emotionally in that way, and rightly its not as if he has changed his demeaner to suit anyone throughout.

To be fair Ev, you still posted your live updates after that was said.

Even although it is nearing the end, I think it will be confusing for gaga jurors to have two threads talking about the same thing.

You had a wee spat - forget it and get back in there!

I believe he is an emotionally controlled person. That was obvious when the 911 calls were being made by Cindy and he walked in on it. It might be his police training. He thinks before he says or does anything.

As for Cindy walking out of court and he didn`t and had no reaction to the terrible accusations heading his way. He knew what was coming. He stayed strong and sat through it. Walking out could have made him look guilty. Staying and having no reaction (court ordered), again, could make him look guilty.

What a dilemma for the poor man.

Well i think we have all read what happened after i said i would persevere.

Anyway, there has been links and updates and opinions in both threads right from the beginning.

To a teenie weenie degree there has, but you`ve definitely changed the goal posts by making this into a live update thread Ev.

It`s because you`re in the cream puff!

Casey Judge Scolds Baez, Ashton During Closings

Baez Raises Voice After Smile From Prosecutor

Judge Belvin Perry scolded a defense attorney and a prosecutor in Casey Anthony's murder trial Sunday afternoon for an in-court spat.

During defense attorney Jose Baez's closing statement, prosecutor Jeff Ashton could been seen covering a smile with his hand.

"We're not talking about fantasy forensics anymore," Baez said. "We're talking about cold, hard evidence, evidence that points to one person and one person only. He can get up here and lie all he wants and dance all he wants around the truth, and depending on who's asking the questions, whether it's this laughing guy right here or whether it's myselfâ€Ķ"

At that moment, he was interrupted by an objection from Ashton.

Perry took a recess and reviewed video of the incident.

After the recess, a visibly angered Perry gave the opportunity to each side to watch the video.

"I assume that you are all professionals," Perry told the attorneys. "I'm beginning to see that orders or anything else may not mean a hill of a bean to any of you."

RAW VIDEO: Perry's Warning

Ashton said he did not believe his reaction could be seen by the jury. Baez apologized for moment.

"If it happens again, the remedy will be exclusion of that attorney from further proceedings," Perry warned.

Ashton and Baez have had several contentious moments in court over the last few months.

At one point, Perry warned the two that if they were to speak to each other directly, they would be fined $100.

The jurying is expected to get the case today. Baez is objecting to both prosecutors doing the rebuttal closing.

Ashton says jurors will hear from both Ashton and Drane Burdick during rebuttal.

Jeff Ashton steps up for rebuttal. He says Happy 4th. Jurors said "Same to you." Ashton wants to talk science w/ them.

Ashton says look at what the scientists agree on... And don't agree on. It's up to them (jurors) to believe who they want.

Juror 5 is looking at #JeffAshton as he speaks. Yesterday, she didn't look at him at all

Ashton says experts testified the only thing that could have kept the skull and jawbone together was the tape

He demonstrates with his hand movements about the skull regarding the last point.

CaseyAnthony Ashton says experts agree nothing in bones reveals how Caylee died. Points out mandible and skull should not be attached.

I have to go for a while, hope to catch up when i get back later

What was that then Ev?

Did anyone say anything about your updates after you said you would carry on, or did I just respond to your post about a misinforming tweet?

I stand by everything I said yesterday, so feel free to carry it on today, with little comments like the above, After the way you have treated me over something which should have really just been a debate over some case in another country, well, lets just say, It has probably all worked out for the best

A few points from Linda Burdick for Prosecution

CaseyAnthony was buying time as she had done w/parents, brother, friends.

CaseyAnthony was running from her family during those 31 days.

Casey's imaginary friends -- those weren't friends, that was a lie. A lie designed for a specific purpose

They are playing the interview with Casey Anthony and detectives. Baez objects but overruled.

Burdick: "If this truly was an accident...Caylee would be found floating in a pool, not a swamp down the street."

Jail call now played in court. #CaseyAnthony closing arguments

Burdick: Describes Casey Anthony as a "pathological liar."

LDB says if you use your common sense and listen to that recording you will see #CaseyAnthony as a "pathological liar."
