I was kinda laughing at the payback until he got a gun out..

he better make sure he locks it up well and good cos kids over there seem to like to shoot people that piss them off and having a  gun around a house with pee'd off people doesn't seem to be a good idea to me..

He's also metaphorically shot himself in the asss too cos you just know he'll fork out for another laptop once he's calmed down a bit..

I grounded mine as punishment, ranged from a week and on occasion I did ground for a month. We adored them all and they wanted for absolutely nothing but if they messed up there were consequences and they faced them. They're adults now and have said they are so glad we were firm with them despite not feeling that way at the time

What a tosser!

The father or the daughter?

The father!

Some, not all, kids need to moan about their parents/terrible life to their friends. I don't see why the daughter isn't allowed to let off steam about them.

Bloody control freak.

Possibly, but it might just have been an empty case. For the purposes of emphasizing a point.

He does appear to work in IT, so he could possibly pick up an empty case no bother.

Wasn't she told not to do it again or there would be consequences?

According to him, she was grounded for three months for something childish that she did on FB, although he couldn't even remember what it was.

We are allowed, as adults, to moan about our kids. I don't see why kids can't do the same, with their friends.

I thought he looked like a farmer.

I got the impression it was more the amount of cursing and swearing.

Did you see their dads, to the side of them, pointing a gun?

Haha Bliz! Did you?

Well, he did say that he worked in IT, but he certainly acts like a frustrated cowboy/gun-slinger.

Zactly.

I agree that kids should be allowed to moan to their friends about their parents, but FB is so...PUBLIC!

Also, I think a lot of it is the sheer lack of respect and any appreciation that he feels. Still, I think he should have waited 48-72 hours before filming that video.

I'd have printed it off, secretly, to show her in later years, when she'd gone through that stage!

It's hard to say, without knowing what Hannah is really like, but it sounded, to me, like she does do her chores, but obviously doesn't have a brilliant relationship with her parents and wanted to let off steam to her friends. Most kids go through stages like that, but end up fine in the end.

IMO, he was a bit OTT, he could have just confiscated the laptop.

Confiscated it and gave it as a gift to the *Cleaning woman* ,he did seem really peed off his daughter referred to that lady like that,in his shoes I'd have gave the laptop to her

Yeah, why was he so pissed off about her calling Linda the cleaning lady? Not sure why that was disrespectful, unless it's a cultural thing.

That song.....is the next line 'riding on raindrops'?  that's what I sing but it doesn't quite seem to make sense.

Son and I once had a row with hubby about the lyrics of a Ronan Keating song - and Mr Yogi was actually right - we couldn't believe it.

It was a one-off though. He says he sings the right words, but not necessarily in the right order.

Mr Jordan has since written on Facebook that the attention has helped him and his daughter 'deal with it' and insisted Hannah is fine, saying they both laughed about the video going viral.

But he admitted: 'I’ll agree that wasn’t a good example of me as a father. I had been reading that post again and again for about an hour, sometimes in tears, other times so mad my hands were shaking.

'I was trying very hard to be civil in my message,' Mr Jordan said, reported Fox News. 'I slipped in that and said a word I shouldn’t have. I deserve a little backlash for that, no doubt.'

A really good friend of mine caught her son under age drinking, she found out where they'd got the booze from, was an off licence attached to a local bar.Next day,Sunday, she got him up,he was hungover, made him get showered and dressed and off she went.Took him into the bar, ordered a drink for herself and a pint of lager for her son who was sat mortified on a stool beside her at the bar.,the barman looked at her son and told her he couldn't serve him alcohol he was obviously under-age and it was against licensing laws.Just the  answer she needed, she asked to speak to the manager,he came and again she ordered a drink for her and her son,he too refused. She then told him her son was as under-age today as what he was last night when they saw fit to serve him a carry out in the off licence if it was ok then it's ok now.The manager knew he was goosed  ,cue all sorts of assurances it would never happen again all sorts of apologies etc.She got a standing ovation for her from other patrons in the bar.
