What a tosser!
Good for him.... some kids need teaching a lesson ! and boy what a lesson !!
Holy cow!
Seems a bit OTT to me, although I agree SOMEthing needed doing.
I can remember my teenage daughter complaining about being my slave. I just asked her when I could expect to receive her half of the mortgage payment.

Let's hope his daughter finally learnt a lesson.
What an eegit . She put a post on facebook before and she was grounded for 3 months??? He needs to come spend a day with my child.... me thinks a bit of perspective is called for with this dad.
3 months is abit long however, good on him...i did a paper round from being around 13 and worked on the market after school (packing up) and at weekends from being 14...I had to if I wanted stuff, my parents simply couldn't afford to buy me the thing i liked.....
I was kinda laughing at the payback until he got a gun out..
he better make sure he locks it up well and good cos kids over there seem to like to shoot people that piss them off and having a gun around a house with pee'd off people doesn't seem to be a good idea to me..
He's also metaphorically shot himself in the asss too cos you just know he'll fork out for another laptop once he's calmed down a bit..

I grounded mine as punishment, ranged from a week and on occasion I did ground for a month. We adored them all and they wanted for absolutely nothing but if they messed up there were consequences and they faced them. They're adults now and have said they are so glad we were firm with them despite not feeling that way at the time

The father or the daughter?

Some, not all, kids need to moan about their parents/terrible life to their friends. I don't see why the daughter isn't allowed to let off steam about them.
Bloody control freak.

Possibly, but it might just have been an empty case. For the purposes of emphasizing a point.
He does appear to work in IT, so he could possibly pick up an empty case no bother.

Wasn't she told not to do it again or there would be consequences?

According to him, she was grounded for three months for something childish that she did on FB, although he couldn't even remember what it was.
We are allowed, as adults, to moan about our kids. I don't see why kids can't do the same, with their friends.
I was sort of on the dad's side - until he took out the gun.
IMO, he was a bit OTT, he could have just confiscated the laptop.

I thought he looked like a farmer.
i thought that was great! i watched a couple of the responses after and there were teenagers saying he was great, that they're fed up with spoilt kids getting everything then moaning about their parents
I thought he looked like a farmer.
Well, he did say that he worked in IT, but he certainly acts like a frustrated cowboy/gun-slinger.

Did you see their dads, to the side of them, pointing a gun?

I got the impression it was more the amount of cursing and swearing.

Zactly.
I agree that kids should be allowed to moan to their friends about their parents, but FB is so...PUBLIC!
Also, I think a lot of it is the sheer lack of respect and any appreciation that he feels. Still, I think he should have waited 48-72 hours before filming that video.
Also, wouldn't it have been GREAT if he'd mounted his horse and ridden off after that? You know, mount the horse, wheel around and gallop off into the distance.

I'd have printed it off, secretly, to show her in later years, when she'd gone through that stage!
It's hard to say, without knowing what Hannah is really like, but it sounded, to me, like she does do her chores, but obviously doesn't have a brilliant relationship with her parents and wanted to let off steam to her friends. Most kids go through stages like that, but end up fine in the end.

And fallen off?
Yeah great lesson to teach your kid.....if you don't like something, shoot it!

You've been watching too many episodes of The Lone Ranger : Hi Ho Silver, away!
I was sort of on the dad's side - until he took out the gun.

Confiscated it and gave it as a gift to the *Cleaning woman* ,he did seem really peed off his daughter referred to that lady like that,in his shoes I'd have gave the laptop to her

Hi, ho, Sliver!!!

Yeah, why was he so pissed off about her calling Linda the cleaning lady? Not sure why that was disrespectful, unless it's a cultural thing.

Now that would have been a good idea.

*goes away to learn how to be funnier so peeps will laugh instead*

How else does one get software? You don't expect him to steal it, do you?

Too true!

Hi, ho, Sliver!!!
That song.....is the next line 'riding on raindrops'? that's what I sing but it doesn't quite seem to make sense.
Hmmm...not sure what song we're talking about. My mom told me that she used to watch the Lone Ranger when she was a kid, and instead of saying, "Hi, ho, Silver", she'd say, "Hi, ho, Sliver" by accident.
