Cyrille Regis, the former West Brom and England forward, has died at the age of 59. He has been described as "one of the great symbols of the fight against racism" and "a pioneer for black footballers" across the world.

59's nothing - heart attack, apparently.
Given what he had to go through just to play the game he loved, he's without doubt a real hero and inspiration. He was also, by all accounts, a genuinely nice bloke and true gentleman.
Apparently, a statue to him and the other "three degrees", Laurie Cunningham and Brendon Batson, is to be finally unveiled in West Bromwich later in the year.
