Ooooh I bought a load of red and white baubles in the sales after Christmas for this year.
Don't get me started on flattened cushions. If Gypsy & Trollop were around more often, they would tell you first hand how anal I am about my cushions.
3 kids Cinds... 3 kids.... I have to replace cushions a lot!

Lmao is that one of your dodgy photo shop attempts?
What do you mean dodgy?
Not poor me at all. I've had a good life and the only reason I brought up the heating is because spending ÂĢ500 on some draperies and then agonising over it on a forum seemed such a rediculous thing to do... and less of the Brandy jibes if you don't mind. I know everytime you've had a few, but don't mention it.
Well, seems like I'm not alone on the cushion love!
As for the booze.....people will draw their own conclusions..there are happy drunks and nasty drunks!

Pretty yellow, but has it got the essential plumpy umpy feather factor?!
Pirate, I'm so going to give this a try....do I have to ummmmmm, focus on
my secret meditation word, slowly caress my 'wand' around my bowl to make sweet music, then wrap my legs around my neck?

The plumpness factor on a scale of 1/10 wasn't mentioned lol. Looks like they're supposed to be for more decorative purposes than the hugging/snuggling factor

In which point bin it! What's the point of a cushion that you can't snuggle up to?

If I'm feeling poorly or sleepy a cushion that is more decorative than snuggly and comforting isn't a lot of use

Surely the point of a cushion is to be a 'cushion' i.e. to snuggle up to?.... In this house we have 'poorly blankets' ....they have varied in their cashmere content over the years. depending on financial circumstances, but nonetheless they will always remain 'poorly blakets!

i guess people buy them for different reasons, decorative, comfort, or maybe they find ones that offer both. I've a special blanket for comfort and warmth for the sofa when either it's cold or when thankfully rarely I feel sleepy before bedtime or feel poorly and feel the need to feel wrapped up. It's made of a microfibre...I think....it's just soooo soft, warm and cosy to snuggle into, I love it
