Oh feck it. Do what I do. Support England once every 2 years and you don't get all this malarky
You don't understand men. We like pain and disappointment. That's why some kind woman invented football for us so we could be perpetually depressed most of the time with the odd moment of happiness thrown in maybe once or twice a year.

Really don't know why I'm bothering going to Hartlepool on Tuesday though. We always seem to fall flat on our faces there, despite how shite they are.
A bit like us with City. They beat us twice last season, and again yesterday though in fairness they probably deserved it yesterday. They used Mourinho-type tactics all defence hoping to score on the counter attack which was ironic, to say the very least.

Do you not think Chelsea lack a player that can unlock a defence when a side is playing the Mourinho tactics against you like yesterday?
I don't think any player can unlock a defence that's literally jam-packed. Anelka is probably our most skilful player and he had at least three players on him every time he got the ball. Mancini certainly did his homework. Drogba can do it but had an offday. We also had two clear penalty shouts turned down.

Sometimes you just have to accept it's just one of those days. I never felt we were going to score when we attacked. City played for a draw and won. C'est la vie.

i dunno, maybe just someone with pace and skill who can run lightening quick at defenders
Sturridge fits that description but he's way too cocky and needs to mature. Kakuta too but never seems to be in the right place at the right time.

Of our first team players Anelka definitely fits the bill but they knew it and just plain took him right out of the game. The problem was, City had no intention of attacking at all, even at home. They were willing to settle for a point. When a team has that mentality you just can't play against them.

At least Mourinho attacked he didn't just defend. Ancelotti has been pretty cavalier this season but the first 'danger' team he came up against he adopted a defensive mentality. Two Italian managers, both thinking 'defensive' well it was clear what was going to happen lol.

An in-form Rooney might have found a way through City yesterday, I doubt anyone else would. They'll be top four I reckon but no way will they win the PL with that attitude, nor should they.

To be honest Mancini looked at how many goals we conceded in the PL (1) and just decided not to risk it. He came away from it with 3 points so fair play to him really. I've seen you play much better but you need to attack a lot more if you want to become PL title contenders imo.
