Certain breed standards etc meant continuing breeding dogs for instance that can't breath properly (bulldogs and other flat muzzled dogs etc)many pedigree dogs have health problems etc.
As with my men, I only go for mongrels.

Yes Renton,dogs should have long snouts(Wolves),alas certain breeds are required to have flat scrunched up faces. Bulldogs,boxers ,pugs etc,it's just bloody cruelty to keep breeding that into an animal.
Give me an old mixed bag mongrel anytime over so called "perfect" breeds.
