hmmmm... it does seem to. Do you think it would corrupt you KT?

I only ask, cos when I read that I think, I wouldn't be corrupted. But then thats probably either very naive or very arrogant of me!

I can't imagine being the corrupt me!

I don't think I can answer that Ditty. If I had an intractable set of ideals and was given the power to impose them, would I do it and be damned? I sincerely hope that I wouldn't, but who can tell?

I'd like to think I wouldn't...but when faced with the prospect of hours in Ikea with an unlimited budget...who knows.... Ninja

Then spend less Big Grin I like it for the togetherness (only time of year whole family is guaranteed holiday at same time!!) and the huge quantities of silly songs etc! The money is only an issue if you bow to the pressure! We have two boys (11 and 6) and refuse to let them or adverts persuade us otherwise!

I'm not saying anything about the wrongs that Cromwell did in Ireland, which were indeed terrible, but that the speech he made in 1653, could apply to the bunch we have sitting in today's English Parliament. I apologise to any of the Irish FMs who think I meant any more than that. I didn't Hug

Nevertheless, it's rather like having a discussion about unemployment and saying, "That 'itler one would sort it all out!" Alas! There is rather a lot of baggage.
