Very sad about the bird tho', I won't leave anything out for the birds cos I have cats, and kick em up the botty if I see 'em going for one.

Of course they are not evil(that is a human fault),however they are not a native wild species,they have instincts etc,which was proved by that poor male blackbird today,just crushed in jaws and left ,not needed for food.
Over six million domestic moggies etc in this country,a devastating effect on our wildlife,songbirds,voles rare now etc.

Go to the RSPB site to see info on how to curb moggie behaviour.Bell the cats,keep them in at dawn and dusk etc.Even contain them as house cats in the Spring.
