Have this lot taken their foot off the pedal
No comment!
This may be the most topsy turvy series in the history of Test cricket.
Thanks for posting that, El Loro
England have come back from 2 - 0 down to level the one-day series. It's set things up nicely for the final match on Sunday

A cracking match today, two well matched teams, looking forward to Sunday's final.

And me, Jackson. Hope that it's a belter to end the season (and with an English victory, of course)
We've gone a bit rubbish again.
Fantastic win over South Africa in the first test yesterday.
Jolly well done, chaps!
Fabulous double century for Ben Stokes. Walloping the South African bowlers* to all corners of the ground and the fastest ever 200 scored by an England player. Terrific stuff!
*That doesn't read too well but then neither does 'Walloping the South African bowlers' balls to all corners of the ground'
I'm not a follower of cricket, but always look to see how England are doing.
And the Stokes/Bairstow partnership carries on - currently 601 for 5
They now hold the record for the longest 6th wicket partnership in test cricket.
Stoke run out on 258. England declared on 629 for 6 with Bairstow not out on 150.

Really pleased for Jonny Bairstow, especially given all that his family have been through.
Yes what a fantatic day. Ben Stokes just magnificent and well done Johnny Bairstow
After the euphoria ,frustration and anti climax
Bad couple of days at the office for England. It'll be the inevitable draw it looked likely yesterday! Still, delighted to hear of that ridiculous over 1000 run innings by that Indian lad!
Bad last day at the office for England, currently 115 for 5 and a win for South Africa is a definite possibility. Cloudy humid conditions today has changed things.
159 for 6, a lead of 161 but bad light has stopped play. There's also light drizzle and it's looking as if the match will be drawn.
Who'd have thought a couple of days ago we were thinking in terms of a massive England win and now they're struggling to draw the match?
I love cricket, I do!
PS Hang on, England!
Hashim Amla resigned as South Africa captain immediately after his side drew the second Test against England.
The 32-year-old had been in poor form but made a double century to inspire his side's fightback after England made 629-6 declared in Cape Town.
"I believe I can be of greater value as a fully focused batsman and senior player at this time," said Amla.
AB de Villiers will lead South Africa in the third Test in Johannesburg, which starts on 14 January.
Stuart Broad is destroying South Africa in the 2nd innings of the Third Test. England could be closing in upon the series win with one Test remaining.

5 wickets in 31 balls
Though England lost their last 5 wickets for 85 runs this morning so it seems to be a day for the bowlers.
With this fantastic victory, England have won the series! They can now afford to give a couple of players on the fringes of the first team a go in the final test, especially as Finn appears to have an injury.
To go to South Africa and win a Test series is no mean achievement. Well done, you fine fellows!
I was listening to Broady's amazing spell whilst pegging out the washing and kept dancing around the garden....what a catch from Taylor! Well done all of them.
South Africa has called up Cook to open the batting for them in the final Test against England:
