Virgin Money called me up twice - once to ask if I'd bought something online (I had) and once to ask if I'd paid about ÂĢ15 to an online gaming site (I hadn't)   They said they thought it was 'suspicious activity'  because I don't usually use my card on a Sunday morning.  How shit hot is that... they know I like a lie in on a Sunday?    (This was only sunday lunchtime btw.. I was impressed)

thats verging on spooky Kaffy...

everytime me & my mum used to go on shopping trips to London (in the good old days before my dad retired)...  my dad would sit and wait for the phone to ring..  without fail mastercard would ring him up about the unusual level of activity on his card... and he would groan & say we were out shopping again!

It reminds me of that of story of a man phoned by his credit card company to see if he's made some suspicious purchases in Hong Kong. He said that neither he nor his wife had been to Hong Kong....then thought for a moment, he then asked how much had been taken and the credit card guy quoted a figure..."My God!" thought the man..."that's way less than the missus would spend"......"No it's okay" he responded "the card hasn't been stolen!"
