If you have something done and it makes you feel better about yourself, then it's all good. If nobody notices, it doesn't mean you don't look different, it just means that you have always been ok in everyone else's eyes but your own!  Surely?  (well I know what I meant to say, but maybe I didn't say it right)  I'll shuttup now !

I'm considering it. I've lost a fair amount of weight but still have a tummy that's not shifting , I'm seriously considering a tummy tuck if exercise doesn't shift it. It is a last resort though cos I'm a wimp.
If you do decide to go through with it make sure you are sure (if that makes sense). My Mum had a tummy tuck after having my twin brother (who were 8lbs and 8lbs 8 and stretched her tummy to buggery) and she said it was agony far worse than childbirth

Yeah I've heard it's agony. It would deffo be a last resort for me. I'm desperately trying to lose it through diet and exercise but so far it's not shifted. I have a little more weight to lose so I hope that works.

Sorry sweetie I don't want to scare you (I could be wrong but I think you are quite young) and I wouldn't want to see you hurting yourself

I'm sure you are doing really well hon!

Lets get something sorted here.Plastic surgery is what surgeons do to correct things caused by injury etc like burns and birth disfigurement.Cosmetic surgery is done electively by patient when patient wants enhancement of some sort.
Tigi, they are now doing mini tummy tucks,.The full tummy tuck involves the muscles, whereas the mini tuck is only to  lipo the fat and remove sagging skin.So should be a lot less painful,as it's the muscle involvement that causes the pain.

I had my laser eye surgery if that counts.. Best thing i ever did in my life
James, can I ask you something about laser eye surgery?  You know when you have glasses, your prescription changes every so often.  So after surgery, do your eyes continue to change, and if so, do they have to do another operation?  Sorry to bombard you with questions, but I've always wondered about this.

I had a mole removed from my face a few years back. It wasn't cancerous but was growing and looked awful. The dermatologist who examined me said that they could remove it on the NHS but I would have to wait about a year which I did.

I don't think I would ever have cosmetic surgery unless I had something serious like burns etc but I would have laser hair removal if I could afford it as excess hair is the bane of my life.
Edit:  Sorry should just clarify I mean I wouldn't want to go under the knife and have boobs, fat removal etc done. That's just me, good luck to anyone who wants surgery to improve how they feel about themselves
