Audrey's happy now she knows Lewis really loved her I guessed he'd give her the money he owed her. Good script the way they wrote the Kylie and Nick situation into it.  It's the best Soap

It is - there is consistency with the storylines and (most of the time) the characters. I still can't get my head round what they did to Sunita but I'll forgive them.

They rarely write someone out of character but with Sunitta they did I agree, but they still have the best scriptwriters so I also forgive them

David's great There were some good one liners from several of the cast tonight. I love how Corrie mixes drama with humour

....... And it settles amicably too. It's a peaceful street. We just caught up and remarked that if this had been set somewhere violent like Midsummer or Oxford there would have been a series of killings.

In Midsummer/Oxford they can have several murders in one episode, in Corrie they spread them out over a period of time

Well that's my point. Oxford people are violent. Especially the academics.

.... and then the cold blooded killers are released on a technicality and in no time at all are back in the bosom of the community where the worst thing people think about them is 'oh that Tracey, she's a bit of a one...'  

It frustrates me that I can't remember what the technicality was lol

I just looked up wiki YR, because I couldn't either.  They say the forensics expert had falsified his qualifications so the verdict was overturned.

Oh right Kaffy, thanks for checking  I've been watching Corrie for sooo many years and it's not always easy to remember every aspect of all of the storylines

Do any of you remember back in the late 70's when a lorry crashed in to the Rovers and Tracy had been left outside by her doting mother while she popped in for a swift half.  They thought Tracy was buried under a pile of rubble only for it to turn out some loon had wandered off with her and she was safe.

Yes I remember that ..............just imagine - Corrie with no Tracey.

I remember it, I think that was round about the time I started watching Corrie.

It's a pity the current Tracy couldn't get buried under a pile of rubble!

I was only about 6, 7 or 8, but I remember it so well.

Watched the omnibus this morning. Brilliant, they well deserved the NTA award. Hope Lewis returns soon and blackmails Kylie

One thing I find hard to understand is why Tyrone doesn't have much to say or do with baby Jack. I know he's Kevin's baby but Ty was his dad for quite a long time wasn't he?

For many years I grrrrrrrrrr'd at Steve MacDonald - I quite like him now - I think he's an acquired taste - he's grown on me.

I like Steve too, and Lloyd.   I can't stand Owen and Anna's p'ing me off for not telling him to do one.

 

On a happier note - Tyrone's finally getting a baby he can keep.  Alan Halsall and Lucy Jo Hudson are expecting a baby in RL
