Yep, it's on Sunday at 7:30 and Monday-Friday next week at 9 pm. I'm on Chesney's side this one, don't feel sorry for John at all.

 

Only thing i'm not looking forward to is another Becky out of control tantrum involving violence.

 

Ken is getting a storyline that doesn't involve an affair for once.

Becky is becoming tiresome..........looking forward to next week, will have to juggle things around tho...thank goodness for ITV+1 !

I hate what they've done with the character Now every time he opens his mouth he lies.

Nooo not David or Tracy or Fiz. Tina could be good again if they bring back her fun side and fiestyness like she had when she first arrived.

 

I would axe Sean and Michelle first, no chance in Sean ever leaving since he's good pals with the producers.

Oh David has run his course, surely? Or is he like Sean, pally with the producers? Dont really mind Sean, he can be funny.Tina may come into her own, once the storyline changes , trying hard not to do a spoiler !

She is indeed ...........................I never liked her in the first place - then (fror a very brief period) I warmed to her. She's been made into a caricature ................not believable in any way shape or form.

How much of it is because we think they are real? Do we occasionally think that we wouldn't like a particular character in real life and thus want them to leave? Is it because we think that they can't act? Or is it a purist thing where we think they have gone as far as they can?

I would definetly axe Maria, Emily (don't like the character despite her/the actress being Street royalty), Kirk and Owen at this present moment.

 

I would get rid of Mary too, personally I find her irritating and can't believe she's meant to be nearly 40 years old? 45/50 more like..

 

My favourite characters are: Carla (in the fabulous and drool stakes), David, Tracy, Steve, Kylie, Peter, Leanne, Gail and Eileen.

I like John too,it's like an "Arsenic and old Lace" plot with him.He really doesn't mean to kill people. Shame about Beckys character now,too OTT.Oh and David and Kylie get rid .

Definitely dreary Deirdre as well, I don't suppose they could include Ken as he's a fixture.

I think the John character is great, and will be sad to see him go...  I think he will go though.  Fizz is a bit annoying as she is ALWAYS angst-ridden.  David is very annoying at them mo, and his CONSTANT bloody garbling and whining about wanting to get MAX is pissing me off.  It's SO out of character because he wouldnt give a shit about any kid.  I don't like Kylie either, and Becky's character has gone off the rails..I can't stand her now.  Still like Steve though and wish Liz had stayed actually...

 

I don't have an issue with ken or emily or rita or Gail or Audrey any of the older ones, although dreary deidre gets on my nerves with her constant whingey moaning attitude towards Ken.  Why are this pair even together FFS?  It's not like they have young kids together.

 

Tommy Duckworth is OK, Tyrone is OK, Kev and Sal OK, Rosie is OK, Surfeh and her Sian annoy me a bit, Norris is OK, Mary annoys me a bit, and most of the others are OK.

 

Can't wait for Mondays episode to see where it goes after Fizz caught John with 'the body.'

Tracy Barlow. The character is horrible and Kate Ford is a rubbish actress.

Michelle Connor. The character is boring and Michelle is a really bad actress. She delivers most of her lines whilst looking at the ceiling.

Kirk Sutherland. There is no point to this character. When did he last have a decent storyline?

Owen Whatshisname. Horrible, horrible character who makes me.

Jeff (Sally's boyfriend). What a drip!

Kylie Platt. Another horrible character.

Nick Platt. He can't act.

 

To answer GJ's question, I want to get rid of the characters who annoy or bore me, and the actors who can't act.

 

I love Leanne and Peter (and wee Simon), Steve McDonald and Eileen Grimshaw.
