This is the moment that Todd Grimshaw returns to Coronation Street and immediately finds himself in a confrontation with his old enemy Gail.

Todd pays a brief visit back to Weatherfield on Easter Sunday after deciding that it's time to introduce Eileen and Jason to his rich new boyfriend Jools.

As Todd steps back on to the cobbles, Gail watches on and gives him the cold shoulder, before reacting in anger when she thinks Todd is talking about her.

Michelle Collins's opening storyline on Coronation Street has reportedly been revealed.

According to the Daily Star, the former EastEnders actress's new fiery alter ego Stella will lock horns with superbitch Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) when she arrives at the Rovers Return in June.

Dressed provocatively, Tracy is shot down by Stella, who tells her: "I'm sorry, Tracy, but you'll have to change that dress before you come bar-side. We don't want customers thinking they've walked into a brothel, do we?"

Meanwhile, an insider claimed: "Tracy is spitting blood. She can't believe she's been so stupid. And to add to the insult, she's now got a new enemy in Stella."

The situation arises after Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) cons Tracy, who thinks she is taking over the pub, into signing a document giving him near full custody of their daughter Amy.

Steve is quoted as saying: "Oh, I'm really sorry for any misunderstanding but I've decided to give the job to someone else."

With the possible exception of the Websters across the street, Ken and Deirdre have had more ups and downs (and affairs) that most other couples in Weatherfield combined.

Perhaps it's because they are constantly teetering on the brink of the next marital mishap, that Ken decides to enroll them both in a pottery class. How is he to know that it will end up going a bit 'Ghost'?

Things get off to a bad start when Ken practically has to drag Deirdre away from her glass of wine in the Rovers to take part in the first lesson.

However, he's soon wishing he had left her in the pub when it turns out that his attempts at pottery leave him a laughing stock, while Deirdre goes straight to the top of the class with her effort.

To make matters worse, the teacher cosies up to his star pupil leaving Ken feeling jealous and more distant than ever from his wife.

But will Deirdre be tempted to take things further?

hahah.. loving the sound of these storylines... hopefully Corrie will get its oomph back when Michelle Collins joins.         I thought Sunday episode felt a bit cobbled together tbh  - more like a spin off than an proper part of the show.  What was the point in bring Todd in for one episode?   I can see the point of the Sean thing, I suppose... but they could have brought Marcus back without the whole Jamie and Violet thing. . it just didn't seem 'right'.

 

 

Not that keen on Michelle Collins, but if she puts Tracy in her place its all good !

We were debating who would still remember him. I say only Ken Barlow and Emily Bishop. Mrs Joe seemed to think that more of 'em would know him.

Oooh I just 'Wikkied- apparently Rita Fairclough made her first appearance as a friend of Dennis Tanners - she was an exotic dancer!

Ah! Well that knocks my theory. One will have to apologise to Mrs Jer, who takes "roots" very seriously. That's me in, what we call, the chateau de sheight.

It's the same actor yes, (Philip Lowrie,) but it's 43 years since he left and he looks massively different!  I have to say, how on EARTH did Rita recognise him so easily/quickly?  This is him now, how she saw him....

Agree Cupcake.. it doesn't look like the same man... He's 2 generations older for a start and looks completely different.  It's a bit unbeliveable that Rita would instantly recognise him like that.  After 43 YEARS.

 

And I don't know Aimee about Sal and her fella... the characters disappear for ages don't they LOL.  I cannot bear Sallys new fella, he is so dull

Sproot and Aimee you're wrong.  And I am only going to say this once coz I am tired of defending myself.  Sparkles was agreeing with something I said earlier, along with answering to something Aimee had said.  Something about Dennis tanner....Just because we posted on the same page a few hours apart, Soozy has commented that we're the same person, but we're not, and this is getting very tiresome now. Believe what you want, I don't much care, but Soozy always throws out the multiple username accusation when I disagree with anything she says.  That is all i have to say on this matter. It's boring now and I am no longer going to defend myself,
