i've watched Corrie all my life .................there have been times when I've dipped in and out but TBH - I can never imagine life without Corrie.

Although it's bad at the mo, I will never stop watching, as corrie has spent a few months having dodgy storylines before, then it goes good again for a few years, but EE is just shit all the time. And I think that people are perfectly entitled to have a bitch and a moan about the utterly shit storylines right now if they want to.  Agree that the Xin/graham/Tina storyline is wank: one of the worst ever.  As if anyone would let their friend of a few weeks marry their fella.  And now Tina is all jealous and shit.  It's so obvious that Xin and graham are gonna get off together.   I detest Tina and think her role is a whiney angsty little madam.  I wouldnt miss her if she went, and I don't think she is pretty and sexy like the rags make her out to be. 

 

And i agree with Karma that that fella at the factory did NOT try and rape Maria.  he tried it on.... it's happened to me several times in my life, (when I was younger) and it's happened to most women I know (and a few men!) and I bet many people on here have had someone get a bit fresh with them some time in the past, especially when they have had a bevvy.  Stupid storyline.

I remember watching the first episodes way back when and have continued to watch it up till now. But it is going through one of it's very silly phases. No doubt it will improve.

Can't wait for overdramatic duo to leave, bulgy eyes, sexual tension and overdramatic accents leave me cold... can't wait for the cobbles to cool down and start again....

Talking of over dramatic accents - why does Sally HAVE to say 'Serrfeh' and Rerrrseh'. I've never heard anyone pronounce their thingies like that? (oh you know what I mean). It's usually 'Sorrfeh' and Rorrseh' (like the way Kevin says it)

Just about agree with every word LOL.  I also can't bear that russ's mom (Lloyd's g/f,) and also although I used to think becky was good and a 'fun' character, she is pissing me off now!

Tell you what's making me feel old: Tommy Duckworth being a grown-up!  I think Chris Fountain is about 24, and Tommy is supposed to be 19 or 20.... and ecky thump, if someone had asked me how old Terry Duckworth's son was now, I would have said about 11 or 12!  It was a shock to see him grown.

Ok, only catching up on Monday nights Corrie now.

 

1. Xin is theee worst actress I have ever seen. Shocking bad, and incredibly annoying.

 

2. The Leanne jealousy thing is also annoying.

 

3. Gail in general is annoying.

 

 

Mrs Jer doesn't like the Chinese girl either. I find it difficult to single out anyone since a lot of 'em are dreadful IMO. One or two are so good that I can't imagine why they are in it, short of receiving a regular paycheck.

As if it could not get sillier. Gail gave that slut, if I may say so, a bag of sand to leave. Is she really that stupid?

Why did Kylie sign the register as Platt and Xin as Proctor?  You sign in your maiden name for the last time when you sign the register - someone has made a little bit of a mistake there

I absolutely love David and Kylie together, some peoples couple of hell but they are fun IMO.

 

As the only one here that likes Gail, actually enjoying Kylie winding her up. Becky really is vile, ruined character but i've not liked her for ages now...

Part of me now wishes that Doris had spoken up. It's now very very silly. That Kyle one looked very fetching in her saloon girl style mind. But it's all still very silly. One hopes that they get rid of her and her sister........... And Jim, so they should.

Overacts every line he is given, so he does........get rid of him.......again!

Darlo you're not alone in liking Gail ...............I sort of grew up with her. We got married (only the first one) and had babies at the same time.

 

also - I too cannot stand Becky .........................bloody shame really - she could haver been a good character but the script writers have gone Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay OTT with her. It;s now not only very irritating but also unbelievable IMO.

Darlo I like Gail I told hubby the other day Kayleigh would take Gail's money but still turn up for the wedding so no surprise at all for me she turned up. I wonder how many actresses the Producers auditioned for the part of Kayleigh...because to act opposite to Becky and others they needed a really good/strong actress and they found her even though as a character she's not likeable but as a young actress she's good imo
