Also, I think Carla encouraging Maria to proper flirt with that guy was a bit crass.  FFS, this is the 21st century; if a woman can't get on in business without acting like a slapper to 'get her own way,' then she shouldn't be in the job she is in!

Well in the real world that underwear factory would have shut down over thirty odd years ago and  the business would have went to India and other cheap markets .However it's soapland so it's still viable.

I agree Sky and Soozy, that its from one extreme to the other.  Roxy seems well off and loaded and her single mum lifestyle is wonderful and then Hevva doesn't even seem to be able to afford beans on toast.

Maria and Carla, have to say this storyline is a letdown so far and nowhere near as good as the current Emmerdale and Hollyoaks storylines regarding rape..

I agree , darlo, i dont watch Hollyoaks, but Lisa in Emmerdale was fabulous, very good acting i thought.

I actually liked Derek at first, goes to show in RL that some people who you don't think would do such a thing are capable of it but poor Lisa and Zak doesn't know what to do.


In HO a girl is claiming she got raped by her boyfriends best mate, he got recently bereaved because she had cancer but a fire struck and she decided to commit suicide as she was dying anyway, so he is now having anger issues and the girl claming to be raped found out her boyfriend slept with her supposed new friend so this girl and him got drunk and one thing lead to another but no-one knows who is telling the truth so both are being portrayed as the innocent party and shows how some people lying about being raped has wrecked the person accused life, some members of public will be shown supposed evidence, some of them don't watch the show so to avoid any kind of bias then it's down to what ending Hollyoaks decide to show and it's discovered who is telling the truth.

That's certainly a different slant on it, Darlo. You'll need to tell us when they reach a verdict.
