I'm in bits here. Absolutely brilliant. David, the child from hell has grown into a good man. If that doesn't get an award there's no justice.

I agree...a really well played episode, really believable, and I cried too.
I watched it this morning and used half a box of tissues.
Jack P. Shepherd was absolutely brilliant.
I loved that the writers remembered Gail's history and had her mention Brian being killed in the same way - the scene where she advised David how to tell the kids was really touching.
Corrie has been pants for ages but last night's episode was excellent.
Wasn't he good, Yogi? I thought the same when she mentioned Brian (I might even had uttered 'Oh - of course!' or something!) and when he hugged her and it had me thinking after all the horrible things he's done to her, he's still his mum's boy. It has been a bit rubbish for while - time to move on with some of the crappier storylines - if they can produce stuff like this, they should.
Now I'm waiting to see who the Daddy is for Leanne.... and for Ches and Gemma to start having an affair.
I watched it this morning ... heartbreakingly good acting.
Anothter impending storyline possibility ... Callum's mum tries to take Max away from David
I did have a tear in my eye, poor kylie.well acted by her.

Oh yes! They did make a point of reminding us he'd not adopted Max yet.
Been a while since we talked about Corrie....
I have to confess to be being slightly watery eyed at Mary and Norris last night.
Also... just how brilliant a villain is Phelan? I think he's a great character.
Oh and one more thing - can Maria's jailer please throw away the key?

Good idea!
i was glad Mary didn't go ... I know that bloke is supposed to be her son, but she didn't know the first thing about him. Holiday first, then decide
I should get out more
What about Mary and Norris? Is he banging her brains out now?
sorry haven't watched it since Keegan left.
Since you mention it. We were so impressed with The son of Mary and his excellent South African accent. He sounded just like a Boer!
(A Boer from Dewsbury)
In general it's struggling a bit, isn't it?

Did they say how long he's supposed to have been there though? (yes, I know it's fiction..)

Only a matter of time now, Crunchy...
In my defence I must say that my SIL and her fambleh all picked up the accent and not only sound like Boers but picked up their backward ideas too.
There aren't many decent stories in the street at the moment.

Yeah, I'll give you that.. it's a bit dull at the moment.
