I missed it...but I'll watch it again on catch up tomorrow..
I do hope they resuscitate Peter, please, please....anything can happen in soapland, the wheelchair girl stood up i believe....
Ah no, that is real... she isn't paraplegic, she can walk prob short distances with the aid of a stick but needs the chair for longer distances. I remember Leccy saying when the actress first started, she has the same condition as Leccy, and the soap decided to give the character the same condition - easier I guess

I think she has this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E...dash;Danlos_syndrome
But yes Skylark, essentially her legs are fine... some days must be harder than others to walk with joint stiffness etc

She did I remember it, and I thought about it when I was watching tonight. I miss the Leccy too
I'll be gutted if Peter dies, they've left it on a cliffhanger so i'm not giving up hope just yet...
Jane Danson star of the show for me, Alison King, Chris Gascoyne, Julia Haworth and Vicky Binns all impressed me too.

Corrie as always came up with an excellent production! from the many behind the scenes to the actors, and not just tonight but Congrats to all in the "Live" Performance, no fluffed lines or continuity that we noticed.
I really hope that in the next tv awards Corrie gets more than they usually do as against EE who get too many and not always deserved in some categories, whatever soap. I really hope Peter survives, he's an excellent actor and how last year he lost an award to Phil of EE in the same category, with storylines shown for viewers to choose from, is still utterly beyond my comprehension.

Yes Saz , some people assume a lot! Its a bit like asking a blind person if they want a hand crossing the road and shouting at them
Yes Izzy stood up, the funny moment for me this week was when the sweets fell on top of Rita when the rubble came crashing down and when she was on the stool beforehand.
Number 4 is the bloke in the car the firemen were talking about.....I think.....
Just watching the programme after - Roy looks sooo young!!!

Would that count tho MrsBaubles?
Corrie and Eastenders are both great, I admit I watch Eastenders more now but all these comparisions are silly.. they're both good at what they do, have a mutual respect for each other as proved in East Street and paying tribute for the respective anniversaries.
I'm excited about Tracy's return, found out some gossip.

Ha Ha the fireman who was with Molly (Tony Hirst) played Mike in Hollyoaks and voice overs How It Works on Discovery Channel if anyone here watches that..

But inevitable really. It was never an issue years ago but when they come face to face at various soap awards it would be unrealistic if they weren't compared IMO.

I dunno where she is, she hasn't handed in a note or anyfink

I might have missed this a few pages back. But what the hell happened to the hard hat they were insisting Sally had to put on before she went in to the wreckage?
I was surprised that Molly confessed ... I wonder what will happen now. Will Sally keep quiet about it?

Not looking forward to Traceys return Going off now, feel drained! Thanks for the company

I hope they mean proper cast members, I'll feel cheated otherwise
I'm also watching the programme after Corrie. I remember the water bed scene, it was hilarious

Re the hard hat...health and safety going mad in here! Nite x
That Ken and Dierdre scene is one of my favs and I love Hilda's "Woman, Stanley" - I remember it!!
I really liked Judy Mallett, shame she died and I cried.

I'm sure as well as the hard hat she would have hat to put a jacket with some sort of high vis on it before entering. Anyway, I also think they forgot to give Claire Peacock some glycerine tears for grieving her husband. I flippin cried more than she did
Still can't quote but understand Darlo's pov and Soozy's up above. For those of us who watch EE and Corrie some of us can't understand why EE gets more awards than Corrie, maybe the gp who vote prefer the more depressing, violent, negative scripts of EE to the light and shade of Corrie - the gp are so used to being fed negative and depressing stuff in the media maybe that's how they think all life is and feel a connection with it.
Both soaps have some excellent actors, do I think EE deserves more awards than Corrie? no

^ Eastenders are more focused on drama where as Corrie do both the comedy and drama, at times when EE have tried to include comedy it feels forced but the one liners they do hilarious.. they've started to include more funny scenes and make it more light hearted, well there is a former Corrie producer and scriptwriter there now.
The scenes they just showed of of the AA Meeting for Peter Barlow with Blanche,Ken and Deidre was hilarious at the time and still hilarious to watch again. Love the humourous scriptwring on Corrie
