yes I had it in December 2019 i was really poorly and met someone  who had it in October 2019 and was in hospital and being helped to breathe -  I was working in a school (ina different school now) and we were waiting to be told to close in March 2020

took me ages to recover - and still not keen on tomatoes and i used to love them - took me ages to eat baked beans again as well  - its in school now slept for5 days and coughed and coughed-was awful - didnt eat or hardly drink either - the two times after were not as severe

Yes, I knew people that were ill before December. There is a Covid outbreak in both West Cumberland Hospital and Carlisle Hospital at the moment. Visitors must wear masks, but no restricted visiting so far.

Looking back it’s amazing to think how we all lived through Covid lockdowns …

I couldn’t bliddy go out anyway , cos I was non weight bearing for 6 weeks ….i still remember the joy of being able to get upstairs  to my bed at the end of it , albeit on my bum

I worked  from November to December in college in Birkenhead  and then online for a term on teams full time - kept getting a migraine though then back full time in march/April 2021 but with loads of restrictions and mask wearing

only off work for a week in school but they feel poorly - most are young  thoughand not had  a covid jab  for ages

Luckily , cos I’m ancient , I still get a spring and autumn booster jab ….although this years , in May, made me feel a bit poorly for a couple of days …

They just advise you to carry on as normal if you're well enough, although when I had it... it was like a heavy cold, the cough lasted a few wees though. I only felt unwell on the first day and put that down to a bug
