yes - I tend to go the more direct way in the mornings which is shorter only about 30 mins but I dont like it because one village often has a go slow police van hidden somewhere and i have 2 speeding fines already  - the other way is longer but does not ever have a 20 mph road which i find better and I know the exact spot the Go slow van will be
