Hi Baz and bestieeeeeeee Rosssss
Update.
She's walking slightly better, but no improvement so far with her arms and hands. The tightness around her ribcage is easier, but not completely gone.
The surgeon is going to keep an eye on her arms and hands, but he stipulated his main objective was to stop her getting any worse and keeping her out of a wheelchair, so any improvement is a bonus. He did mention maybe going in through the back, but that carries a higher risk, I think Pam will give that some serious thought if she's not guaranteed to get any better results from it.
She seemed ok, she's to wear a collar and that's uncomfortable, she's hoping she gets more sleep tonight, they have changed her collar. The physio is coming back tomorrow to see how she manages with stairs, they were trying to find her a walker on wheels, but there isn't a spare one
If I hear any more tomorrow, I will post in here and let you both know I have left a message. Off to watch TV
