No, last year, one walked past Pat on her way home after locking up. He'd travelled to the top of the sea brows from down in the harbour Apparently the males can travel a fair distance looking for females. I am not even sure if that's the reason they are coming into the town more often, never happened when we were young.

Are bison and buffalo the same? Though the terms are often used interchangeably, buffalo and bison are distinct animals. Old World “true” buffalo (Cape buffalo and water buffalo) are native to Africa and Asia. Bison are found in North America and Europe.
