Yes ....it's so annoying ....cos they made us ( on thevFB app) move to a messenger app the other day ....we had no choice ....so I oresumed they had switched the old way off .....obviously they hadn't....so effectively ( on the two IPads) I have been on in four places ...

Yes, that's what I meant ....every time the * upgrade* Something for us , you need to check your settings...privacy etc, ....I do , but never thought of checking the messages !
