I always wear jeans for work, so trainers are ideal for standing behind the bar all night. Mind, I have always worn trainers with jeans

I used to , but can’t get comfortable in them since my ankle

If I am going out casual but dressy, I wear boots..I only wear trainers for work or knocking about

wear shoes or sandals for work in the summer -boots or shoes  in the winter and trainers or sandals  at weekends if  its cold or wet with jeans or leggings  - smart trousers or if hot a skirt at work

My bad ankle doesn't really impact on my footwear..I just have to make sure the boots are not tight-fitting for my left ankle. I feel more confident in boots, they seem to give me so much support
