Yes, she said she tends to read lips ….and that she can’t actually hear her own voice , ( only the vibration) l…which is why she tends to shout she said …

yes -when I was Head of ALN I  had to manage a hearing Impaired unit -not on a day to  day basis but alongside speech/language units dyslexia ,autism and  Mild Learning difficulties - -there were some children that  lived in a totally silent world-parents deaf as well-very sad -some had cochlea transplants
