yes -when I was Head of ALN I  had to manage a hearing Impaired unit -not on a day to  day basis but alongside speech/language units dyslexia ,autism and  Mild Learning difficulties - -there were some children that  lived in a totally silent world-parents deaf as well-very sad -some had cochlea transplants

Awwww ….it must be very difficult for them….although I guess if you’ve never been able to hear you know no difference
