Hi moonie My day was a weird one. Travelled an hr and a half to a school, but was told that I wasn't needed anymore at midday as the teacher had returned. Turned out that they weren't happy with me, which is puzzling as nothing went wrong other than a maths lesson being a bit hard as the teacher hadn't set the work at an appropriate level for most of the class.

Cheers Baz. I think it must have been down to the TA. She seemed to resent me coming in and taking over things. Surprised that the head or deputy made the decision to call the teacher in though - she had been off with a bad neck. Unless the kids were going totally off the rails (which they weren't) most heads/deputy heads would have just asked the TA to bear with me for the rest of the day. We only had a bit of art and PE in the afternoon to do, so it wasn't exactly going to be a taxing afternoon.
