The Hovercraft takes half an hourâĶâĶwe picked up a flyer once when we were in PortsmouthâĶ.it goes from Southsea, but no good if youâre taking a car, no idea about the ferry though

not a long crossing then, but sounds like you need to be a good walker or price in car hire
