Takes about 30 minutes ….and yes, it can’t get quite rough in winter

The Hovercraft takes half an hour……we picked up a flyer once when we were in Portsmouth….it goes from Southsea, but no good if you’re taking a car, no idea about the ferry though

Yes….but you can see it from Portsmouth….and a bit further west it’s about 10 mins, but you’d have to have your own boat
