I normally have mine on from when I get up until I go to bed Ros, apparently its cheaper to run it like that, I just forgot this morning
yes I think it is but not being here in the day it would be a waste of heating - we never switch ours off - it is on all year and they advised us that is better for the wear and tear on the boiler as well as the economy side of it

we keep it ticking over all year though - some at work switch it off but we have been advised to keep it on better money wise and wear and tear on the boiler
