Seems Devon,Cornwall and Wales are going to get a real hammering…….we are in the 50-70 range …but there’s a danger to trees and scaffolding etc

It’s my bliddy fences etc I’m worried about ….but I’ve put stuff from the garden in the garage , propped up the back gate with two posts , and weighted down other things with bricks….so I’ve done as much as I can …..

yes they are further south bit think all the coasts will be the worst- but  in a couple of south wales authorities school closures are only advisory-rest of wales-schoolsare shut-madness

yes, we're in the same range 50-70, we had that yesterday, it's what we call a breeze here in Cumbria We get Westerlies at this time of year

I’ve got several trees ,but nothing you can do about them…..no rear entrance so no gates

Stupid not shutting them Ros ….they are in the highest level red alert …..so I’m guessing parents won’t send their kids in to school ….at least if they’ve got any sense !
