Guy that owns an allotment about 300 yards from my back fence, he couldn't get in the water was waist deep for three days. Most of his hens went into their nesting boxes apart from four, they floated about on bits of wood for three days before he could get to them He comes into the club Friday night

I was fine, the allotments are in a dip, the culvert they put in to stop the flooding is pretty useless 
He tried to get in with full-length waders, it was far too dangerous if he had slipped.
