They used to do a lot of brewing around Reading ….I think it was the Courage brewery ….and it stunk !

I remember Courage beer...we have loads of breweries around here, I can think of three micro and one extremely large brewey within six miles of us , sweet likes Jennings beer which is brewed in Cockermouth
