we hired one once and the accelerator stuck on the motorway, I've never been so scared in my life....my ex managed to stop it using the handbrake and gears

I saw a caravan jackknife on the M6 .....it was on the opposite side , but when it jackknifed it shot up on to the middle barrier ....and guess who was travelling in the overtaking  lane on the other side .......luckily it snagged on the barrier before it hit us ! Talk about scary !

it's scary, this one jackknifed and tipped, I think someone overtaking him clipped it, he didn't stop This was at Scotch Corner

something similar happened to us on the M25 but it was 2 cars - just missed us and passed in front of the car and hit the barrier - it is very scary

Yes, this one was simply going to fast .....in the overtaking lane ....and I presume the wind caught it ........we could see it coming towards us for a few hundred yards ....but couldn’t get out of the way as we were blocked in .....I really thought our number was up ! We pulled over to the hard shoulder as soon as we could and just sat there shaking
